These preschool enrichment classes occur on the premises of your child’s preschool. Classes take place for 30 minutes each week. The Academy’s curriculum revolves around the stories of the great ballets: we teach basic ballet skills and muscle awareness as a foundation for social grace and self-awareness. The children learn ballet steps and skills to the music of great ballets and practice the names of the composers.
Etiquette is a natural part of each lesson, as it is related to grace.
Each class ends with the story of a great ballet told alongside the music to help the child associate story and song.
If you would like to bring classes to your child’s preschool, please contact us.
Class fees are per month and can be made online with PayPal via the links next to each school or through Sara directly.
No specific dress is required, but we do ask that you avoid giving the children shoes with laces on the day of classes.
Registration forms are available at most preschools but you can download and print out the form via this link.AcademyBalletSignUpForm

Village Little Preschool
Wednesdays 9:30-10:00 AM
Village Little Preschool is affiliated with the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Cupertino and they’ve been operating nearly 40 years! We dance in the sanctuary, where I move the chairs into the shape of a square and teach the children to use their “sweetest voices” and “calmest bodies” to enter the sacred space and twirl and jump! These children are remarkably charitable; they are always helping each other, even after they say things like “not friends anymore!” They always seem to recover and re-friend. http://www.villagelittlepreschool.com/

All children attending Twinkle Twinkle are included in the weekly dance lessons.
Little Acorn Preschool
Equally warm and charming, Little Acorn is a preschool tucked into the campus of a Mountain View’s First Presbyterian church. The teachers are masterful, the administration is highly engaged and the vibe big hearted. The children are attentive to one another, proving they’ve had coaching in kindness and patience. http://www.littleacorn.org/
Hands On Learning Center
Thursdays 9:00 AM
Hands On Learning Center is a Christian preschool with a great teacher to student ratio and a philosophy of teaching by doing, hence their name “Hands On.” The staff is very affectionate and guides their student body in small groups through activities to instruct math, science, reading and phonics. The small groups convene for social time which is wonderfully mixed to help the children adjust to differing developmental levels and learn to be supportive neighbors.
Montessori School of Silicon Valley
There are weekly classes held at the Montessori School of Silicon Valley (MSOSV). Among the most loyal to the teachings of Maria Montessori, the MSOSV schools are friendly and philosophically pure schools that put “Children first. Always.” I taught dance and music at the MSOSV schools during the 2015-2016 school year, after which the Executive Directoress invited The Academy of Ballet & Etiquette curriculum to all four of their campuses.
